smokey eye love...

I so love a mysterious smokey eye...
a must have for fall/winter
the idea this season is to use your eyeliner more,
and less shadow. You can still get a smoky look by using an eyeshadow.
You need a black eyeshadow in the outer corner of the eyes and above the crease of the lid. Continue by applying an eyeshadow in an iridescent earthy tone, on the entire eyelid including on the black shadow going towards the base of the eyebrows. Use a black eye pencil and apply it on the interior. For your lips, choose a nude lipstick.

things to remember when shopping for summer ...

layer leggings and a thin girly sweater
over a short sleeve summer top

layering for Fall...but hear me out...

something to take into consideration when shopping
for cute summer dresses and tops - is
how can I wear this later in the Fall & Winter.

I love layering so here are a few ideas of what
you can do this Fall with your Summer clothing.


Add skinny jeans, leggings or tights under a dress
Add a blouse to a sleeveless sundress
Cover a dress with a shrug or belt a chunky sweater
(my personal favorite)
Layer a plain blouse over a printed cami
Layer a colored tank over a t shirt
and I am sure once you start playing around with
this you will come up with so many different options...

If you are not into Khaki, camel and beige
try head to toe grey for spring 2010.
Grey goes with everything and
with a pop of color it is even better
(like a yellow or blue necklace or belt)
I tried to put myself on grey restriction this
past year but I came to the conclusion
you can never have to many gray shirts or dresses...
