NYC memories...

just got back from a fun NYC trip with my husband and friends...
here a few of my memories...

meeting Emmett McCarthy Project Runway (season two) his
studio boutique is cool and it was fun to see what he wanted/made me to try on
and wear for my saturday alternative (he called it)...
He also told me not to come crying if he sells my dress.

A slice of mushroom pizza from Ninos (super yummy)

my favorite little Italian place to eat on Mulberry street
I have been eating here for years... Super yummy also

One of the things I most love about NY is you can be yourself and wear
whatever you want... This outfit was kind of backwards but I love walking and looking
at all of the lovely people and their choice of outfits (so inspiring to me) This
outfit is not in the category. (sorry)

cool artwork

going to the US Open and watching so many great tennis players

dinner with friends...I laughed so hard all week I am still recovering
from a headache...

My husband tommy - He is the one who planned this special trip
for me. Happy Birthday to me (thank you babe)

my favorite brand of shoe to buy in the city... I'll share pics later

super hot cuffs all over the city...and to think I have been wearing them for a while now and love... here is a pic. and we carry these same ones (leather for $12.00)

and last but not least my hubby -
yes he totally took over for this man
and actually sold comic books for him...

Hope you don't mind me sharing these fun memories with ya...

fun times...

Well, I'm not sure why everyone could not believe
I was going to camp outside in a barn at the weekend yoga retreat. lol
The retreat was wonderful and I would love to do it again but not the camping thing.
It was fun until the skunk incident
We ate at the super yummy stoney knob restaurant one night in Weavervillle
The property we stayed on was lovely and it was fun to meet new people.
I feel refreshed and inspired...

here are just a few photos from trip...
I have more pics to share but am having trouble with camera...

have a great day

Friday...

cute window box at bed and breakfast

bed and breakfast in Ashville

bead shop I will be stopping at :)

I have been looking forward to this weekend all summer.
I will be attending a women's yoga retreat in Ashville.
Since I have never done this I would get the
full experience and even camp indoors of course in a
rustic barn which does have electricity I'm told.
I will report back to you next week.

hope you have a wonderful weekend...

happy monday morning.

I am sitting at panera bread company this morning looking out the window at the beautiful day. It is starting to feel like spring finally!!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was a busy one. I ran green valley road race and it went great - then I worked at my store for most of Saturday afternoon putting out lots and lots of cute new spring apparel and accessories. My weekend ended last night with me sitting in front of the TV with my doggies watching the grammys and making cute flower pens (you have to have a cute pen to use each day). So, stay tuned... lots of pics of cute new spring styles will be blogged about this week by yours truly :-) have a wonderful day... rebecca
